With its warm wood walls, soaring ceilings, and abundant windows, the Grand Room accommodates 175 guests for dining and dancing.
Illuminated by our magnificent 12’ vintage crystal chandelier and hand-crafted wall sconces, the soft glow of the warm wood inspires a feeling of grandeur yet intimacy. The Chandelier’s Pineapple symbolizes friendship and hospitality, welcoming everyone to join together in celebration. From your grand entrance to your first dance, all guests have a great view of the festivities with the centrally located dance floor beneath the chandelier. Fully modernized for executing flawless events with full climate control, ample power outlets, and dimmable lighting to achieve the perfect ambiance.
Three sets of hand-crafted wooden barn doors join the Grand Room to the Stables offering versatility to create separate spaces.
The Stables is an ideal option for an indoor cocktail hour and a guest favorite for reminiscing, relaxing, photos, late night snacks, and desserts. Overlooking the old stone walls of the lily pond, the Stables features a 14’ live edge timber bar, a massive 40’ barn beam bench, custom made antique lighting, hand-hewn beams, and well-appointed restrooms resembling the original horse stables.
The North entrance features the bar and flows into the “Hot Spot”, an outdoor lounge complete with fire boulder and pavilion, perfect for an indoor-outdoor cocktail experience. The South entrance is the charming stone coat room, welcoming guests with flower filled window boxes, custom lighting, and two oversize coat racks.
Beautifully complementing the Sablewood with its old-world elegance and picturesque charm, the Charlington accommodates 175 guests for ceremony or indoor cocktail hour.
Enjoy the elegant simplicity of the white washed walls, impressive scissor trusses with a lofty ceiling, handcrafted French country chandeliers, and plentiful windows. Our white washed arbor, cross back vineyard chairs, beautiful restrooms, full climate control, and catering preparation space are all included.
The Charlington’s bluestone veranda offers an outdoor experience for a weather protected ceremony or cocktail hour.
Flanked by fieldstone end walls and a stone fountain, this covered space is surrounded by mountain views and blossoming gardens. The Veranda is complete with refined lanterns, greenery, bistro lighting, a bar, and cocktail furniture.
Encircled by lush greenery and an ever-changing array of seasonal flowers, the meticulously manicured Ceremony Circle is the centerpiece of the Sablewood.
Perfectly situated to the preparation suites and cocktail garden, the party flows effortlessly throughout the spaces. With a panoramic mountain backdrop, the Circle is complete with our handmade wooden arbor, cross back vineyard chairs, fountain, an all-weather stone surface that is high heel and wheelchair friendly, and plenty of power outlets.
Adjoining the Ceremony Circle by stone walking paths, the Cocktail Garden has the allure and charm of an intimate garden party.
This open-air space is perfect to enjoy the beauty of nature on warm weather days. With the spectacular surroundings of the mountains and a variety of flowers as fragrant as they are beautiful, the relaxed elegance of the gardens invites guests to mingle under the shade of the apple tree, savor a cocktail at our handcrafted bar, indulge in crudité from local farms, and enjoy live acoustic music by the limestone fountain. Our handcrafted bars, cocktail tables and chairs, fountain, and benches are all included.
Located in the heart of our 120-acre property, the Hilltop Pond is the choice of couples who wish to be fully immersed in nature.
Nestled in our lush hayfields bordered by private forests, this serene setting of endless mountain vistas has the beautiful backdrop of a spring-fed pond graced by an elegant willow tree. This remote location does not have facilities or power access and requires the couple to hire coach buses to shuttle guests to and from the Sablewood. The ceremony site, walking path, and access road are finished with an all-weather stone surface. Regardless of your choice of ceremony location, we drive each wedding couple and their photography team to this location—perfect for a first look beneath the shade of the willow tree, or capturing spectacular sunsets and stunning reflections.
Well outfitted with white vintage furniture, multiple hair and makeup stations, plenty of power outlets, a private bathroom with double sinks, a mini refrigerator, and bar.
The Loft is a luxurious space for you and your party to get ready in before the ceremony. The cathedral wall of windows invites nature indoors with breathtaking mountain views. Natural light flows into this airy space illuminated by a delicate chandelier and surrounding mirrors.
Additional window seating is perfect for capturing special moments and displaying your florals. The Loft overlooks the ceremony circle, so you can relax in privacy while peeking at the preparation for the festivities. The front door opens onto the adjoining Sun Deck surrounded by abundant seasonal florals—a perfect place for popping champagne or capturing a first look.
Adjoining the Sablewood Barn, this tucked away space is the perfect place for you and your party to relax and get dressed before the ceremony begins.
This space is complete with a vaulted ceiling and windows overlooking the grand entrance so you can get a sneak peek of your guests arriving. The Quarters is richly appointed with stately leather furniture, mirrors, custom lighting, a private bathroom, mini refrigerator, and bar for your comfort.
The Hot Spot is a favorite outdoor lounge, bordered by the Lily Pond and perennial gardens.
Just a few steps outside the bar area of The Stables, the Hot Spot is also our designated smoking area. This open-air gathering space includes an adorable pavilion resembling the Sablewood barn. For nights under the stars, relax around the fire beneath twinkling lights to the gentle splashing of the fountain. This inviting space includes a fire boulder, bistro lights, lounge furniture, Adirondack chairs, and flower urns.
There are countless beautiful locations for group photos with your family and wedding party in walking distance to the barns.
As an added benefit, we drive each wedding couple and their photography team to picturesque locations around the 120-acre property for couples’ portraits.
Spring brings the delicate greens of new blooms on our trees and perennials. Early Summer’s warmth is rich with gently swaying timothy and wildflowers in our hayfields. As our hay matures and nears harvest, the fields take on a soft golden hue. Autumn brings brilliant foliage as we are blessed with abundant sugar maples and a variety of hardwood trees. Winter’s light of cool grays and soft blues are enhanced with evergreens and snow adding depth to the landscape.
